Mrs. Tommie Mae Williams went Home to be with the Lord at the blessed age of 87, on Wednesday, February 26, 2008. She was born on June 20, 1920 in Taylor, Mississippi to Tommie and Connie Toles, who both preceded her in death. She met and married Prince Wortham before moving to Muskegon in 1941. She was a resident of North Muskegon all her adult live. She was a faithful member of Faith Congregational Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Davis; four children, Willie, Louis, Louise, and Arnelia. She leaves to celebrate her life one sister-in-law, Charlene Henderson; 3 brothers, Harvey Jones of Kansas City, and Curtis and James Robert (Elvira) Jones of Muskegon; 5 children, Jai Kanoi Wortham (Printis) of California, Aron D. Wortham (wife Pearlie) of North Muskegon, Geraldine (Dena) Devereaux of Muskegon Heights, John Wortham of California, and Lula Hamilton (wife Lee) ofm Ohio. Blessed to have known her are 26 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, her church family, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at Toombs Funeral Home, 2108 Peck St., Muskegon Hts., on Sunday, March 2, 1pm-5pm and on Monday, 2-7pm. Visitation with the family will be Monday, 6-7pm. Home -Going Service will be held at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Ben Harris Pastor, 1946 Russell Rd., North Muskegon on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Eulogy by Bishop Carlton Johnson pastor of Faith Congregational COGIC.
