Timothy Lee Sherburn, age 72, passed away November 12, 2024. He was born May 9th 1952 in Muskegon, Michigan to Marshall and Shirley (Gebers) Sherburn. Tim attended Maple Grove & Mona Shores schools until moving to Twin Lake where he later became a proud graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School, class of 1970. Tim went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy. He then went on to earn his associates degree from Santa Rosa Junior College and worked as a skilled machinist throughout his career.

Tim married Diana Thurkettle on September 25, 1981 and together they built a life full of love, laughter and shared passions. He had a keen appreciation for cars, especially Volkswagens. He spent a great deal of time fixing and restoring them over the years. Tim's artistic spirit found expression through watercolor painting and stained glass projects. Tim's love for music led him to be a lifetime fan of the Grateful Dead, and he attended many concerts over the years with his friends and family. An avid handyman, Tim found joy in home improvement projects. His love for learning and creating was something he passed on to his children and grandchildren, who carry forward his legacy of curiosity and craftsmanship.

Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Diana; sons Matthew (Kristen Olsen) Sherburn, Noah Sherburn, and their daughter Abby (Dan) Tufts; grandchildren Stella and Tilly Sherburn and Ethan, Landon, Lawson, and Collin Miller. He also leaves behind his siblings, Michael (Patty) Sherburn, Dan (Mari) Sherburn, and Nancy Leiter, his best friends for life "brother's from another mother" Jay Fagan and Gregg Sutherland; sisters in-law Viki Montalvo & Theresa (Stan) Matuska; numerous nieces, and nephews; and former wife Toni Sherburn.

Tim will be remembered for his dedication, creativity, and love for his family. His memory will live on through the lives he touched and the legacy he built.

A celebration of Tim's life will take place some time in the summer of 2025.
