Timothy P. Mccumber

Mr. Timothy Phillip McCumber, age 66, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 6, 1950 to Glen & Catherine (Schrader) McCumber and graduated from Reeths Puffer High School in 1969. Tim proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He married the former Nancy Bakale on April 5, 1975. Mr. McCumber had been employed as a tool & die maker for Mahle Engine Components for 35 years until retiring in 2007. Timothy was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and Holton American Legion Post 397. He enjoyed playing cards, watching UFC & NASCAR, Harleys, hunting, camping and old cars. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 41 years, Nancy; children, Glen (Christina) McCumber, Jacquelyn Renee McCumber; grandchildren, Maximus & Lillian McCumber; step grandchildren, Lexis & Brenden Reid; brothers, George (Sandy) Goodrich, Thomas (Cathy) McCumber; sister, Kerry Witte; brothers-in law, Matthew Bakale, David (Joanne) Bakale; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Goodrich and beloved dog, Jenni. FUNERAL MASS Saturday, March 18, 2017, 11:00 am at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Vu officiating. Interment in McCumber Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon and Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maximus & Lillian McCumber Education Fund.
