Thurston Young, age 81, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2023. He was born in Waldo, AR on February 19, 1942 to Cliffton & Morine (McKinley) Young. He married the former Janet Walker and had been employed as a Foundry Worker for CWC until retiring after 30 years of dedicated work. Thurston enjoyed playing his numbers and going to the casino. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved watching football.

Wife, Janet, Sons, Michael Young, Jamario Young, Dennis Young, Ladura Young; daughter, Denise Young; daughter-in-law, Monica Davis; siblings, Charles (Magnolia) Young, Willie (Lonnie) Young, Floyd (Delores) Young, Irvin Young, Shirley Young, Chester (Elizabeth) Young, Hester (Willie) Titsworst. He was preceded in death his parents; daughter, Angela Young; sister, Jewel Ann Young.
