CHRISTIANSEN, MR. THORWALD "Tory" L. Spring Lake Mr. Thorwald "Tory" L. Christiansen, age 85, died suddenly Sunday, January 1, 2006. He was born in Muskegon, MI on April 9, 1920 to Walter & Ida Christopher Christiansen & married the former Maxine Brenizer. Mr. Christiansen served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Africa & Europe. He was a long time employee of Sears Roebuck Co. & was in charge of shipping, receiving & set up of Sears Stores until retiring. He was a member of American Legion Post #9. SURVIVORS Survivors include his wife, Maxine Brenizer Christiansen; daughter, Linda Bob Jacobsen of Freesoil, MI and 2 sons, Dale Kelly Christiansen of Middleville, MI & Marc Christiansen of Spring Lake; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his sister, Ella Sobotta of Chandler, AZ; sister-in-law, Mary Christiansen of Muskegon & numerous nieces & nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICE Sunday, January 8, 2006, 1:00 PM at the Clock Chapel with Rev. Sarah Samuelson officiating & Military Rites under the Auspices of the Muskegon County Council of Veterans.
