WRIGHT, MR. THOMAS ARTHUR Ravenna Mr. Thomas Arthur Wright, passed away Tuesday morning at the age of 53 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Tom was extremely active, whether at work or play he was never one to sit still. Over the years Tom worked at CWC Textron where he was active in Union Local 539, operated a carpet cleaning business for ten years, and was employed recently at Weyburn - Bartel. After Tom was unable to work he took on the responsibility of being a caregiver for his twin grandsons. REMEMBRANCE Hundreds of friends visited him during his illness, regaling him with stories about Tom's pig roasts, midnight rescues, and his tireless help with their home projects. He was a generous and loving man, always there in an emergency, when you were stranded along the highway, or to help a friend move. Acknowledged as the family hero, he repeatedly made room for one more person in his home and in his heart. He had the rare ability to make everyone feel special. No one will ever fill his shoes and him time with us was far too short. SURVIVORS Wife, Linda, son Thomas, and daughter Stefanie William McGinley. Especially close to his heart were his grandchildren: Jacob Wright, Kaitlyn Wright, Bryce Wright, and the twins, Konnor & Kameron McGinley. Tom's family includes: his mother Louise, brothers Verne Sheryl Wright and Tim Linda Wright, sisters Carol Wright, Roberta Fred Dubson, and Mary Joe Szoke. Tom Fostered special relationships with everyone he met. Especially close were his cousins whom he regarded as best friends. During the course of his 34 year marriage Tom became an honorary son and brother to: 'mother' Lucille Booker, 'brothers' William Nettie Booker and Bruce Booker, 'sisters' Marilyn Dale Bannon and Laurel Ted Lasley. Preceded in death by : son Edward, father Verne Sr., special uncle and aunt Norm Phyllis wright, and 'father' William Booker Sr. SERVICE & VISITATION Visitation will be Thursday 7-9 pm at Shiloh Tabernacle. The service will be held on Friday, July 16, 2004, 11:00 AM at Shiloh Tabernacle Church 460 E. Tyler Rd. Muskegon Russell Rd. Exit off US-31, with Rev. Verne Wright officiating.
