Thomas Ray Wiseman

Mr. Thomas Ray Wiseman, age 59, passed away Monday morning at the Harbor Hospice-Poppen Residence following a long illness. Tom was born in Muskegon on April 27, 1949 to Ollie "Zeke" and Doris "Betty" (Wilson) Wiseman. Tom was a life long resident of Muskegon. He was a 1967 graduate of Mona Shores High School and also received an Associates Degree from Baker College. Tom was the founder and co-owner of Airport Tour and Travel. He was a member of the West Michigan Flying Club and a former member of the Grand Haven Lions. Tom enjoyed flying, golfing, time spent with family and travel. Throughout the years, Tom made nearly ninety trips to Jamaica for both pleasure and business. Survivors: two sons, Scott (Michelle) Wiseman of Ada, MI and Timothy (Elizabeth) Wiseman of Rockford, MI; granddaughter, Amaya; mother, Betty Wiseman of Norton Shores; sister, Rachel (Robert) Indgjer; 1/2 brother, Leonard Wiseman; 1/2 sister Joyce Wiseman and his sister-in-law Joyce Wiseman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron on January 13, 2008 and also his father. The funeral service will be held at: The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 Thursday, December 18, 2008, at 1:30 P.M., Rev. Nicholas M. Fuller officiating. Visitation with family will be Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
