Thomas Plouhar

Mr. Thomas P. Plouhar, age 70, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 30, 1939 to Bernard & Caroline (Felcoski) Plouhar. He joined the Marine Corp Reserve and married the former Sharon Hearl. Mr. Plouhar had been an employee of Howmet for over 30 years until retiring in 2002. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and reader who enjoyed golf. But foremost was always his family. SURVIVORS Wife, Sharon; mother, Caroline Plouhar Larsen; sons, Bryan (Patti) Belanger of Wyoming, Al Belanger of Coopersville; daughters, Terese (Martin) Wunsch of Muskegon, DeLor Plouhar of Twin Lake, Cara Tilden of Traverse City; brothers, Robert (Barb) Plouhar of Manistee, Frank (Beverly) Plouhar, John (Kim) Plouhar, Mike (Eileen) Plouhar, all of Muskegon; step brother, Larry (Lyn) Larsen & stepsister, Gayle Reelman both of Muskegon; grandchildren, Mark, Nic, Garrett, Aaron, David, Timothy, Chase, Connor, Oliver, Megan, Destani, Kathryn great grandchildren, Trey, Jocelyn several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard "Benny" Plouhar, stepfather, Harold Larsen; granddaughter, Paige Nicole Belanger; and in-laws, Don (Leah) Hearl. SERVICE Thursday, August 26, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Chaplain Jonathan Rager officiating. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Wednesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Mercy VNS Hospice.
