Mr. Thomas "Tom" E. Monson, age 67, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones, Friday, March 15, 2024 after a long hard fight with cancer.

He was born in Muskegon, MI on November 1, 1956 to Douglas and Lillian (Kalsbeek) Monson.

Thomas is survived by his son: Michael T. Monson; grandchildren: Sullivan and Mylee Monson, Ellie (Erabella) and Ariyanna (Monson) Thayer; brothers: George, Gary (Sue), and Greg Monson; sister: Mary (James) Bowditch; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and infant grandson, Gage Monson.

Tom graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School in 1975 and was on the reunion committee, where he was known as "the life of the party".

Tom had been employed at H.O. Taylor Enterprise - Silver Stallion Company for over 50 years. Tom enjoyed stock car racing, building model airplanes and rebuilding and showing his classic cars.
