Thomas Markham

MARKHAM, MR. THOMAS M. Husband of Elaine Fruitport Mr. Thomas M. Markham, age 76, died Friday, September 29, 2006. He was born in Dayton, OH on July 10, 1930 to Chalmer & Thelma (Davis) Markham and married the former Elaine Nelson on November 16, 1952. Mr. Markham had served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He had been employed as an Electrical Engineer at Siemens Electronics for 38 years until retiring in 1990. He attended Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, was an avid golfer, and enjoyed gardening, but foremost was his family. SURVIVORS Wife of 53 years, Elaine; 2 sons, Steven (Vickie) Markham of CA, Richard (Nicole) Markham of AZ; daughter, Cheryl Thorpe of Fruitport; son-in-law, Donald Denhof, Jr. of IL; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Denhof; great grandson, Jeffrey Denhof, Jr.; and by son-in-law, Larry Thorpe. SERVICE Wednesday, October 4, 2006, 11:00 AM at Fruitport Congregational U.C.C. with Bishop Robert Roll officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Fruitport. MEMORIAL: Hospice of North Ottawa Community.
