Thomas Chupp, age 78, died on December 17, 2007 at Brook-haven Medical Care Facility in Muskegon. He was born on November 12, 1929 in White Cloud to Clarence and Elfiea (Morris) Chupp. He attended White Cloud area schools prior to entering the Army to serve his country during the Korean War. He married Frances Gallentine on July 11, 1953, and she preceded him in death on May 9, 2004. He worked in several capacities during his lifetime and was a supervisor at a machine shop just prior to retirement. He relocated to the Bitely area in 1990 following retirement, and chose the area because of his great love of hunting and fishing. Thomas will always be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family including children, Patrick (Nancy) of Grant, Delma (Robert Kincaid) Chupp of Grant, and Michele (Forrest) Faust of North Muskegon; grandchildren, Jeremy (Elizabeth) Wilder, Gretchen (Dominick) Catalfamo, and Nicholas (Krystal) Wilder; great- grandchildren, Aedan, Greyson, Nikko, and Lucas; siblings, Sam of Arizona, Jonas of Indiana, Moses of Newaygo, Ed (Barbara) of White Cloud, Frances (Freeman) Yoder of Goshen, IN, and Mabel Hunter of Florida; a sister-in-law, Becky Chupp of Metamora, MI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Chupp and a sister, Sarah Glover. A military honors service is being planned for Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Verdun Funeral Home, 585 7th Street, Baldwin, Michigan.
