Thomas Calhoun

Mr. Thomas B. Calhoun, age 57, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013. He was born in Muskegon, MI on February 12, 1956 to James & Gwendolyn (Dixon) Calhoun and married the former Kristi Whelan on August 13, 2003. Mr. Calhoun had been employed as a Machinist at Sealed Power, Integrated Metal and Enterprise Brass. He loved to salmon and walleye fish on his boat and bowled at Bob Hi and Northway Lanes. SURVIVORS Wife, Kristi; sons, Brian Tjapkes and James Tjapkes of Muskegon, Justin Calhoun of San Diego CA; daughters, Kristina Vanderberg, Amber Gardner both of Muskegon; stepdaughter, Amanda Molotke of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; brother, David Calhoun of NC; sister, Cindy Herron of SC. He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Ed Whelan in 2013 and step son, Gary Hines. MEMORIAL SERVICE Friday, August 9, 2013, 1:00 PM at 6813 Creekside Drive.
