Theresa Carranza

Mrs. Theresa Marie Carranza, age 55, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 7, 1960 to Martin & Norma (Slate) Knuppenburg and graduated from Fruitport High School. She married Freddy Carranza in 1987 and had been employed as a Bus Driver for Holland Public Schools for 17 years until retiring in 2013. She was a loving, giving soul that everybody loved. She was known to buy clothes for kids on her bus and was always smiling. Theresa was highly active in her kids and grandchildren's lives. Theresa attended North Bridge Church in Kalamazoo. She truly loved the Lord and will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Husband, Freddy; sons, Dr. Cody Knuppenburg DO of Grand Blanc, Trevor Carranza of FL; twin daughters, Allie Carranza of OR & Raquel Carranza of Holland; grandchildren, Xavier, DiAngelo, Royal, Simeon mother, Norma Knuppenburg; sisters, Cathy (Fred) Cherrette & Charlotte (Matthew) Bouwhuis; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. SERVICE Saturday, November 7, 2015, 10:00 am at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport with Pastor Ray Brandon officiating. Interment in Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, November 6, 2015, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport. MEMORIAL: To the Family.
