Thera L. Holstine

Mrs. Thera L. Holstine, age 78, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 following a long illness. Thera was born on November 3, 1929 in Fremont, MI to Peter and Dena (Witte) VanHemert. On December 3, 1948 she married Mr. Ray M. Holstine in Muskegon. Ray preceded her in death on April 17, 2007. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church and in earlier years was an avid golfer. Mrs. Holstine retired from SPX Hi-Lift and then together with Ray worked a route for the Muskegon Chronicle. Thera is survived by: daughter, Carlene L. Voss; grandson, Jason (Lynn Holmes) Voss and sister, Elaine (Clare) Tubbergen. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Marvin and Terry and two sisters, Joyce and Aletha. The funeral service will be held at: The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 11:00 A.M.,Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Visitation: One hour prior to service. She will be laid to rest in Norton Cemetery. Memorial: St. Jude Children's Hospital.
