Theodore Messerschmidt

Theodore Messerschmidt passed away Monday evening, July 30, 2007. He was born to the late William and Grace (Campbell) Messerschmidt on September 3, 1911 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. On October 3, 1936 he married the former Christine Grace West, and they were married for 57 years until her death in 1993. Theodore is survived by two children, Dale (Linda) Messerschmidt of Adrian, Michigan and Judith (David) Rice of Muskegon; a brother, Jesse (Babe) Messerschmidt of Darien, Wisconsin; a daughter-in-law, Barbara (Roger) Walker of Vestaberg, Michigan; 16 grandchildren; 48 great-grand-children; 8 great-great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jerald Lewis Messerschmidt; five brothers; and two sisters. Theodore retired from Universal Camshaft. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
