Thelma Davis Mockerman

Mrs. Thelma E. Davis Mockerman, age 80, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. She was born in Detroit, MI on January 26, 1934 to Herbert & Thelma (McNabb) Crandall and married Raymond Davis and then Milton Mockerman on July 31, 2004. Mrs. Davis had been employed as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Fruitport Post 3734 Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed camping crocheting and gardening. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Husband, Milton; son, Vic (Kay) Davis of Holton; daughters, Cheryl (Jerry) Oberlin of Grant, Beth (David McLaughlin) Krisatis of Muskegon; grandchildren, Storm, Kelly, Kristie, Rachel, Jerri Rae, Raymond, Rania, Donnie, Jacob, Brandi, Josh; many great grandchildren; step children, Gerald Mockerman of Hastings, Mark (Marcia) Mockerman of Muskegon, Amy Whipple of Muskegon; special nieces & nephews, George & Mary Rawson of Muskegon, Elaine & Carl Morse of Muskegon; longtime friends, Jeanie Carvill of Grand Rapids, Ruby Gilewski of Grand Rapids and Margaret Hill of Muskegon; and many foster children. She was preceeded in death by first husband, Raymond; great grandson, Blake Sorenson; one brother and three sisters; stepdaughter, Karen Durand. SERVICE Friday, September 5, 2014, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. John Brown officiating. Interment at Egelston Township Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Hospice of Michigan.
