Thelma Janette Leggett

Mrs. Thelma Janette Leggett, age 74, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at the Poppen Residence. She was born March 18, 1933 in Halls, TN, to Richard and Molly (Duggan) Ward and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. On June 12, 1958, she married Melvin J. Leggett in Brownsville, TN and he survives her. Janette was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her grandsons and was a caregiver to many. She will be missed dearly. SURVIVORS include her husband, Melvin; 1 daughter, Melba (Daniel) Darcy of Norton Shores; 3 grandsons, Breton, Tanner and Daniel Darcy all of Norton Shores; 2 brothers, Bob (Jean) Ward and Sewell (Sandra) Ward of Halls, TN; and several loving nieces and nephews and extended family. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 7, 2008 at The Lee Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey Street (231) 798-1100 with Pasor Scott Faith, officiating.
