Thelma Chapel

Mrs. Thelma E. Chapel, age 94, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on March 3, 1913 to George & Isabel (Ryder) Pratt and married Earl Chapel on August 23, 1989. Mrs. Chapel had been employed as a bank teller at Lumbermans Bank for 22 years until retiring in 1977. She was a long time member of Calvary Church and enjoyed traveling, but foremost was her family. SURVIVORS Husband, Earl; son, Ronald (Betty) Meadley of NC; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Mary) Pratt of OH; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, William Meadley; son, Allan; step-daughter, Judy VanDeursen. SERVICE Saturday, August 18, 2007, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Calvary Church or Poppen Hospice House.
