Thelma M. Aley

Mrs. Thelma "Pat" M. Aley, age 87, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005. She was born in Kewadin, Michigan on August 18, 1917 to Clayton & Myrtle Fox O'Dell. She married Ray E. Aley in May of 1947 & he preceded her in death in July of 1984. She married Walter H. Stiff in September of 1990 & he preceded her in death in November of 2000. Mrs. Aley had been a floral designer & homemaker. She was a member of First Congregational Church, enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, sewing, cooking & a busy social life. SURVIVORS 3 sons, Don Sharon Aley of Muskegon, Tom Issy Aley of Grand Rapids & Jeff Barb Aley of Middleville, MI; 2 daughters, Sandy Ed Stehney of Royal Oak, MI & Lurinda Jeff Montella of Twin Lake, MI; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alice Larcom of CO, Shirley Ring Jensen of Williamsburg, MI; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, a daughter, Patsy Metzler, son, Ray "Skip" Aley, Jr.; 5 brothers & by a sister. SERVICE Saturday, January 29, 2005, 1:00 PM at First Congregational Church with Rev. Donald Mathews officiating. VISITATION Saturday, one hour prior to the service at First Congregational Church.
