Terry Alan Twining, 76, of Muskegon, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on January 2nd 2026. He was born June 17th, 1949 to the late Donald L. Twining and Delores L. Twining (Artlip) in Muskegon, Michigan. Along with his parents, Terry is preceded in death by grandson Hunter Daoust, brother in law John Kohanski, and dear friends David Wickstrom and Lisa Boyer. Terry is survived by siblings Linda Kohanski, Cathie (Dean) Evans, Daniel Twining, and Rebecca (Kenneth) Vanderwal, children Kerry (Stephen) Westerfield, Daniel (Maria) Daoust, Patricia O'Connor, Terry (Nicole) Twining II, and Amanda (Paul) Pretzer, grandchildren P.J. (Luke) Gilmore, Nathan (Brooke) Westerfield, Corinne (Gary) Roessler, Tyler Beckman, and Dominique Daoust, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Terry drove gas tankers for Wesco before retiring, and worked for Tractor Supply Company part-time in retirement. Terry was an avid fisherman, spending several mornings on the rocks or on the ice. He had a passion for driving and restoring classic cars, and riding motorcycles. He had many, many dear friends whom he loved like family. He loved helping people and fixing things. He always looked forward to Hobo's on Tuesdays, and bringing candy. He was optimistic and positive until the end, and he was a kind hearted man who will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at Handsome Hobo's on Sunday, February 1st, 2026 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
