With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Terry Charles Nash, 82, a beloved father, grandfather, and conversationalist extraordinaire. TC passed away, leaving behind a legacy of entrepreneurial spirit, community involvement, and an unwavering devotion to his family.

Born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, on September 26, 1943, to T J and Luella (Cross) Nash, TC was the last surviving of his siblings, Dorras, Horace, and Dorothy. The family migrated north, where Terry would plant deep roots in the Muskegon community. A proud graduate of Muskegon High School's class of 1961, where he played football, he furthered his education with business classes. Terry was a natural entrepreneur, owning several businesses throughout his life, including a restaurant and a janitorial service. He also worked for S.D. Warren for a decade in his younger years.

A man of great principle and community spirit, Terry was a deacon at Westside Grace Church and an active member of the Muskegon Heights Optimist Club, the Democratic Party, and a past Vice President of the NAACP. His passions were simple but profound: talking, watching sports and Westerns, keeping up with the news, and above all, planning and attending family gatherings. He was inquisitive, loved a good story, and was truly the heart of his family.

TC is survived by his children, Lisa Nash, Terry Nash, Charles Nash, and Angelia (Nash) Coleman, Glynis Moffit; grandchildren, Aaron Nash, Aneesha Muhammed, TJ Nash, Ishmael Nash, Layla Nash, Aja Sanzone, Ashley Nash, NaTasha Brown, Constance (Jose) Aguado, and Joseph Brown; great-grandchild, Amina Brown; and a host of nieces nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Dorothy Mae Bates, Dorras Nash and Horace Nash, and his former spouse and best friend Frances Johnson.

A memorial service to celebrate TC's life will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the service, the family will host a repass at the funeral home.

Terry's vibrant personality and endless conversations will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
