Terry Steinbeck

Terry Jean Steinbeck went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 27, following a short battle with cancer. Terry was the daughter of the late Jean and John Steinbeck of Montague, MI. After spending her entire life in the White Lake area, Terry lived in Twin Lake with her beloved best friend and soul mate, Rick Zuber. Terry graduated from Montague High School. She was a great cook, working at area restaurants, but what brought her the greatest joy was sharing her home with Rick and being a good homemaker. Terry will be sadly missed by her brother, John "J.T." Steinbeck; his wife, Julie; and her niece, Madelyn. J.T. and Terry shared a special bond in that they lost their mother, Jean, six years ago, and their father, John, only one month ago. Others missing Terry will be her aunts, Juanita (Tom) Race, Margaret (Ken) Heaton, and Janet (George, deceased) Vincent; her uncles, Martin Vincent and John (Kristi) Vincent, all of Montague. She leaves behind her cousin who held a special place in her heart, George Vincent of Fort Meyers, Florida; many more cousins; and three half-siblings, Terry Wayne, Christi, and Pat. A memorial gathering will be held at 2519 Fruitvale Rd., Montague on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 2pm. All of Terry's friends and family are invited to attend.
