Terry Glenn Ingersoll

Terry Glenn Ingersoll, age 67, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2008 at his home. He was born on July 22, 1941 near Lake City, MI to Glenn and Fern (Hancock) Ingersoll. He graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1959 and afterwards proudly served his country in The United States Army. On Feb. 17, 1973, he married Betty Thurston of Big Rapids, MI. He retired from Meridian/Herman Miller after 23 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed the time he spent as a Boy Scout Leader for Troop #23 for over a decade, and he will forever be the Detroit Red Wings biggest fan. He coached little league baseball for the Fruitport Youth Club. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by Sharon (Ingersoll) Fox. In addition to his wife Betty, SURVIVORS include his beloved children, Terri (Jerry) Fauer, Aaron (Becky Jo) Ingersoll, Steven (Jennifer) Mathis, Daryl (Tammy Tripp) Ingersoll, Casey (Amber) Ingersoll, and Jared Ingersoll; 11 grandchildren Nicole and Heather Dexter, Seth, Evan, and Hailey Ingersoll, Samantha, Jessica, and Isaac Mathis, Morgan Ingersoll, Kyia Ingersoll, and Savanna Ingersoll. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at the Crockery Township Hall on Maple Island Rd. in Nunica, MI, 2-6pm.
