Terry Allen Doolittle

Terry Allen Doolittle, 80, passed away on November 28, 2023. He was born April 29, 1943 in Holland, MI to Albert and Pearl (VanKampen) Doolittle. Terry was a home building contractor by trade until his retirement. He served in the United States Marine Corps from April of 1965 to April of 1971. He spent 6 months on active duty at Camp Lejeune, NC, then active reservist for the remainder of his enlistment. He would tell stories of his time as an active & reservist in the USMC. His hobbies were golfing and driving his corvette with the Corvette Club. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel Albert and Pearl (VanKampen) Doolittle; brothers, Robert and Jim (Mary) Doolittle. Terry is survived by his sister Marcia Berghorst (Wayne); children; Greg Doolittle (Muskegon), and Karen Muree Rooks (Holland); grandchildren, Danny, Reanne, and Austin Rooks; step children, Chandra J. Helton (Spring Lake), Derek A. J. Gajdos (Bonnie) (Grand Haven), Phillip G. Lewis (Rebecca) (Nunica); step grandchildren, Derek R. Gajdos (Summerville, SC), Alexandra R. Faltinowski (Caleb)(Spring Lake), Zachery J. Gajdos (Grand Haven), Jaiden J. G. Lewis (Augusta, GA), and Elena M. Lewis (Spring Lake).
