Mr. Ted R. Tyler, age 85, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 18, 2007. He was born in Central Lake, Michigan on September 6, 1922 to James & Irene (Gordon) Tyler and married the former Elizabeth Westcomb on March 5, 1944. Mr Tyler had been a self employed roofer most of his life. He will be remembered by many as being exceptionally generous, even though he was not a wealthy man; he was wealthy in spirit and gave of himself and his material possessions. He attended Central Assembly of God and was an avid outdoors man. Ted enjoyed his family, friends, hunting, fishing, and later in life, watching the wildlife in his backyard. When his wife, Liz, was alive they were known to jump in the car, enjoy the scenery, and check out new restaurants. He still carried on his passion of eating out until the time of his death.
