Tami Jean Smith

Ms. Tami Jean Smith (Vail), age 50, died Tuesday morning, August 12, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on February 1, 1958 to Anthony and Joan Marie (Rahrig) Koteles and had been a life resident of the Lakeside area. Tami had previously been employed by D and the Muskegon Recreation Club. She is survived by her son, Chad (Rosebud) Smith; her granddaughter, Breanna Smith; her father, Tony Koteles; 3 sisters, Lori Armstrong, Mary (Marty) Hughes, Toni Jo (Chuck) Armstrong and her nieces and nephews, Taylor Armstrong, Tiffany and Kirsten Hughes and Stephanie and Tony Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Marie Miller. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 1PM Friday at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. INTERMENT will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the family to help defray funeral expenses would be appreciated.
