Sylvia L. Alderman

Mrs. Sylvia L. Alderman, age 84, died Sunday, November 4, 2007. She was born on July 21, 1923 in Muskegon, MI to George F. Brown and Ethel Shufelt. She married Ernest Alderman Sr. Sylvia worked as a retail clerk for many years before retiring from Kroger Grocery Store in Muskegon. Sylvia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband and parents; two sisters, Phyllis M. Wilder and Marjory H. Bialik; and two brothers, Leonard K. Brown and Gerald F. Brown. Survivors include: two nieces, Barbara Jacobs and Yvonne Bialik, grand niece, Julia Willer; and four generations of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Masonic Temple in Muskegon on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Noah Project.
