Suzanne Leger Profile Photo

Suzanne perished after a courageous three and a half year fight against cancer, at the age of 64. She was born to Charles and Marion Ouellette in Brunswick, Maine, where she grew up and attended Catholic school. After graduation from Brunswick High School, she studied cosmetology in Portland, Maine and became a professional hairdresser at salons in Brunswick and Yarmouth. Twelve years later, she changed careers and became a Customer Service Representative at credit unions in Iowa, Massachusetts and finally in Muskegon, Michigan in 1998, where she and her husband finally settled. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Biller Leger and an older sister, Aline who still resides in Brunswick. Sue loved people and was loved by all, who were fortunate enough to meet and make her acquaintance. She had an incredible memory and it was not uncommon for her to eventually know not only the names of each of her customers and children but even their birthdates or dates of graduation. She will be cremated and her ashes will be kept by her husband to eventually join him in interment at Arlington Cemetery. Meanwhile, her spirit is already brightening up Heaven and bringing a smile to God, as she is no doubt learning all the names of the angels, who reside there. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date at a place and time, yet to be determined. In lieu of cards or flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Association in her name. Phoenix Crematory Services
