Stevens, John H.

Mr. John H. Stevens, age 52, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, October 19, 2006. He was born on August 15, 1954, to Howard and Ruth (Martin) Stevens in Muskegon. John was an artist and a wonderful son and brother. He would often say, "Rainy days were just silver days." He was a member of St. Jeans Catholic Church and was active at the CMH Clubhouse. SURVIVORS include his parents, Howard and Ruth Stevens; 9 sisters, Molly (Tom) Wahr of Muskegon, Debora (Wayne) Bergstrom of Frederick, MD, Denise (Gary) Dunn of Lake Alfred, FL, Anne (Louie) Langlois of Paw Paw, Margaret (Scott) Nestell of Ravenna, Jeanne (Tom Rubinger) Stevens of Carmel, CA, Jill (Chris) Lamrock of Muskegon, Rita (Brian) Olejarczyk of Muskegon; 1 brother, Martin (Monica) Stevens of Muskegon. John was preceded in death by 1 sister, Louise Stevens in 1980. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Extended Family Caregivers, David and Cynthia Fox of Muskegon, Betty, Terronda (TuTu), Barbara, Angie, Michael and Alice; special friends, Ann Judson and Jewel; and many wonderful friends at the clubhouse. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Monday at St. Jeans Catholic Church (1292 Jefferson) with Rev. Fr. Michael Shea presiding. VISITATION with the family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at the The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 where the rosary will be prayed at 3:30 PM Sunday. Memorials to Baker Haven would be appreciated. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery.
