Steven Simon

Mr. Steven Simon, age 60, departed this earthly life on Sunday, April 2, 2017 after a long illness. On April 21, 1956 God blessed Willie & Villa (Holland) Simon with the eighth of their union. At an early age Steven accepted Christ. He retired with seniority from CWC Textron after 15 years with the company. Steven was a diehard Muskegon Heights Tigers fan who was known for his love of family, cars, sharp dressing, skating, music and especially the love for his grand kids. SURVIVORS He leaves to cherish three sisters, Dorothy (Rev. Jerry) Williams, Betty Simon, Annette Simon and one brother, Johnnie Simon all of Muskegon; three children, Steven Jr., Rickey & Cecilia Johnson of Grand Rapids; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Villa Simon; four brothers, George Holland, William "Bill" Holland, David Simon and Larry Simon; special friends, Lewis "Junior" Paige and Rance Winters. SERVICE Monday, April 10, 2017, Noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Pastor Jerry Williams officiating. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
