Taken from his loved ones much too soon, Steven Ogle was a blessing to all who were within his reach. His life was filled with family, fun, and plenty of love, and his zest for life was contagious to all who knew him. Stevens greatest joy was found in the moments he shared with his mother and siblings whether they were on the go or enjoying a quiet evening at home. He was the sort of person who accepted others for who they were, and when he loved Steven did so with his whole heart. Life will never be the same without him here, but his memory will remain forever near and dear to countless others. It was just after we welcomed in the new millennium that a young couple from Muskegon, Michigan, was elated to discover that they were expecting their first baby later that year. This was a time of new discoveries and new experiences all across our great land. Tiger Woods became the youngest golfer to earn a grand slam title and the highly anticipated merger between AOL Online and Timer Warner came to fruition. The latest Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released while the nation was captivated by the series premier of Survivor. It was on September 25th of the year 2000 that Steven and Heidi (Faught) Ogle were blessed with the birth of the baby boy they named Steven Charles. His mother was in labor for what seemed like an eternity - just over 36 hours - but Stevens mother always said that he was well worth every minute of labor from the moment he made his arrival. He was a very alert baby with a great set of lungs, and he was also very content and calm. Steven was raised in the family home alongside his younger siblings, Jordan, Caitlynn, and Mason. From his earliest days Steven loved being with his mother, and later his siblings as well. Together they enjoyed day trips to the beach and parks, and the evenings often found them watching television together. Steven was always sure to tell them all that he loved them before saying goodnight and heading to bed. Movie nights complete with popcorn were another one of his favorites. Extended family also played an important role in Stevens life. He looked forward to fishing with his grandpa and uncle, and he loved doing things like playing cops and robbers, playing ball, and kicking leaves with his siblings and cousins. Steven just celebrated his birthday, and he shared it with his extended family as they were over to share in the festivities that were complete with a cake and plenty of ice cream. There were many things filled Stevens short life in addition to being with those he loved. He was a typical boy in many ways as he was a Cub Scout and collected baseball cards, football cards, and Pokemon cards. Steven was a student at local schools including McLaughlin School, Nelson School, Marquette School, and Muskegon Middle School where he was currently a student. He enjoyed school and was excited to be a middle school student for the first time this year. Steven just got a trombone and was planning on having his first day of band this Monday. He was proud of his new shoes, too, as they were red and white to show his loyalty to his new school. Steven also liked playing video games and enjoyed music. He loved babies and children, and he already had aspirations of graduating from high school, getting a college degree, and then starting a family of his own. Steven additionally had a special place in his heart for animals. Bubbly, outgoing, and fun-loving, Steven Ogle made a significant impact in the lives of so many others during his short time here. He was a good kid who had a heart of gold filled with unending love for his family. Steven was happy with a warm demeanor and a generous spirit that always led him to put others ahead of himself in ways both great and small. He loved being with his family above all else and could make everyone around him laugh like no other. Steven will be dearly missed while his memory is forever cherished. Steven C.
