Steven Lee Kieft
February 3, 1985 — February 1, 2024
It is with great sadness that our family announces the recent passing of Steven Lee Kieft, 38, at home on February 1, 2024. Steven was born February 3, 1985, in Muskegon, Michigan to Laura (Garvey) Kieft and David Kieft. He attended Muskegon High School, and then Baker College of Muskegon. Steven loved all Detroit sports, and he would often be found shouting at the television whether we won, or lost. Steven had strong opinions on both sports and politics, and his dry humor and sarcastic comments on both were pure gold.
SURVIVORS
Steven is survived by his father David Kieft of Nunica; sister Heather (Scott) Ruffin of Twin Lake; sister-in- law Misty Kieft of Muskegon; nieces Katie McLaughlin, Jasmyn Smith, Cheyenne Smith, Gillian Kieft, Layla Kieft, and Allie Kieft; and uncles Dan Kieft, Bill Kieft, and John Garvey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Garvey, and brother, Derek Kieft.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE
His celebration of life will be Sunday, February 25, from 1-4pm at the Muskegon Eagles downtown.
