Starr, Donald R.

Donald R. Starr, age 63, unexpectedly passed away at his home on December 15, 2006. He was born August 31, 1943, in Muskegon, to Raymond and Florence (Carlson) Starr. On January 22, 1962, he married the former Carole Stevens. He was employed by the Alstrom Construction Co. where he incurred spinal injuries in 2001, leaving him disabled. He was a member of and a past treasurer of White Lake Eagles Aerie #3214. Mr. Starr was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and his mother-in-law, Louise Benovic. Those he leaves behind to mourn his loss are his wife, Carole; 3 daughters, Jeanne (Roger) Schultz of New Era, Julie (Terry) Stephens of Breckenridge and Lisa (Bob) Morris of Plainwell; 6 grandchildren whom he adored; 2 sisters, Nancy (John) Matthews of Lansing and Ruth (Bill) Gilmore of Muskegon. MEMORIAL GATHERING: In memory of Mr. Starr, there will be a gathering of family and friends, at the family home, Tuesday, December 19, 2006, beginning at 1PM.
