Stanley Kendra

Mr. Stanley 'Junior'. Kendra, age 83, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. He was born in Muskegon, MI on July 13, 1929 to Stanley & Julianne (Walachovic) Kendra and married the former Betty Marie Stidham on February 22, 1949. Mr. Kendra had been employed as a delivery truck driver at Farr View Dairy until retiring. He was a past County Commissioner representing Fruitport and an avid outdoorsman and gardener. He will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughter, Judy (Erie) Toney of Hesperia; sons, Robert Kendra of Rothbury, Ronald Kendra of Fruitport; daughter-in-law, Kathy Kendra of Fruitport; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Kendra of Muskegon; sister, Diane Hays of Williamston; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 2003; son, James; granddaughter, Lisa; brothers, LaVern & Jerome. SERVICE Friday, July 20, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Rev. Kevin McCormick officiating. Interment at Fruitport Cemetery. VISITATION Thursday, 2:00-4:00 PM, 7:00-9:00 PM at Clock Life Story Funeral Home-Muskegon and 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL: American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
