Stanley Frederick

Mr. Stanley E. Frederick, age 84, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 following a long illness. He was born in Remus, MI on August 25, 1928 to George and Erma (Esch) Frederick, coming to Muskegon in 1943. He married the former Marian Wiersema on May 3, 1947 in Muskegon. Mr. Frederick first worked for Bear Creek Dairy, then Brunswick Corp. before retiring from Consumers Power Co., BC Cobb Plant after working there for 38 years. He was a member of Dalton Baptist Church. Stan loved hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening, but most important was helping his children. SURVIVORS Stan is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marian; daughters, Carol (James) Cooper, Sandra (Dan) Houseman; sons, Robert (Debra) Frederick, David (Suzanne) Frederick; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; brothers, Eldon (Jean) Frederick and Gerald (Bonnie) Frederick; and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and one brother. SERVICE Saturday, March 2, 2013, 11:00 AM at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Robert DeWitt officiating. Interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery. VISITATION Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM and Saturday 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Dalton Baptist Church.
