William Roger Spinner (William Clinton West) passed away on January 3, 2007, at the age of 63. He was born on September 6, 1943 to Elfreda and Robert West of Muskegon. In 1949 he, along with his sister Barbara were adopted by George and Marian Spinner of Grand Haven. On January 23, 1976 he was married to Mary Griswold at the Coopersville United Methodist Church. Bill loved to fish and be with his basset hounds. He is survived by his wife Mary; son, William Spinner, Jr.; a daughter Linda (Ryan) Smith; and several grandchildren; along wit his dogs, Trixie, Miles, Meggy and Rosie; his ex-wife, Kristine (Potter) Spinner; two sisters; and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his beloved dogs, Beatrica and Conner; step-daughter, Melissa Potter; his parents; his sister, Barbara Modak and his brother, James Granes. He was loved and will be missed by all. The family is requesting that instead of flowers, please help toward the funeral expenses. Envelopes will be provided at the church. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. at Bible Baptist Temple, 951 W. Laketon Ave., with Pastor Jerry DePoy officiating.
