Sophia Schultz

Mrs. Sophia L. Schultz, age 95, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014. She was born in West Olive, MI on October 18, 1918 to Robert & Lillie (Sillman) Scheil and married Clarence Henry Schultz on September 10, 1938. Mrs. Schultz had been employed as a Supervisor at Michigan State University for years until retiring. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild. Sophia was an avid bridge player. Her smile and laughter will be missed. SURVIVORS Sons, Paul Schultz of Grand Rapids, Phillip (Joanne) Schultz of Commerce Township, Mark Schultz of Muskegon; grandchildren, Karen, Matthew, David, Debbie and Lindsey; eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 2005; two brothers and two sisters; daughter-in-law, Shirley Schultz. SERVICE Saturday, June 28, 2014, 11:00 AM and visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel-Grand Haven with Rev. Paul Appold and Rev Mark Zimmerman officiating.
