Shirlie Peterman

Mrs. Shirlie Eva Peterman, age 81, died Monday, May 29, 2007 at her home. She was born September 18, 1925 in Grosse Isle, MI to Carl and Jennie (West) Jensen and had resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. Shirlie had been a homemaker and a member of Hope Reformed Church where she was very active in the Sunday school program. On March 7, 1946 she married Jay Peterman and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1998. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Marcia Peterman of Muskegon; 3 sons, Larry (Susan) Peterman of Naperville, IL, David (Linda) Peterman of Spring Lake and Brian (Cindy) Peterman of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. SERVICES will be 11 AM Saturday, June 2, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue 231-726-5210 with Pastor Steve Hyma officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Shirlie's family will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday.
