Shirley Ann Tate, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. She is survived by three children, Shelly (Steve) Shields, Cindy (Glenn Grier) Asbury, and Robert Tate; five grandchildren; two sisters, Maureen Patrick, and Jessie (Paul) Kleyn; along with her canine companion, Sammie. Shirley was a volunteer at Christian Care Nursing Home. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Grace Christian Reformed Church, 2500 E. Laketon Ave. Visitation will be held at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel, 1783 E. Keating Ave. on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Shirley's family.
