Shirley Sparkes

Mrs. Shirley A. Sparkes, age 77, died Sunday, January 31, 2010. She was born in San Diego, CA on October 14, 1932 to Henry & Jewel (Allen) Justus and married Victor Frederick Sparkes on August 26, 1951. Mrs. Sparkes had been employed at Michigan Dunes Montessori School for 10 years until retiring. SURVIVORS Children, Shelley (Greg) Sparkes-Egner of WI, Edward (Sherri) Sparkes of Norton Shores, David (Carrol) Sparkes of Norton Shores; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Ferrell of TX; sisters-in-law, Gloria (John) Black of North Muskegon, Diana Frederick of Freeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor in 1992; sons, Richard & Michael Sparkes & parents. SERVICE Saturday, February 6, 2010, 1:00 PM at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Bob Wood officiating. VISITATION Saturday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Life Story Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Hume Home.
