Shirley Potter

Mrs. Shirley Ann Potter, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 26, 1928 to Richard & Gladys (Arnold) Revord and married Robert Potter on May 15, 1946. Mrs. Potter had been employed in the service department office for Matson Olds for 15 years until retiring. Shirley was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and Tops Club 565. She loved her family and playing cards and enjoyed bowling on her league and reading. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Daughter, Darlene (Jim) Beck of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many step grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Sorensen of UT; son-in-law, Fred Oom; sisters-in-law, Monti Revord of FL, Edith Potter; many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert in 1993; daughter, Gail Oom in 2009; brother, Richard Revord and brother-in-law, Robert Sorensen. FUNERAL MASS Tuesday, December 29, 2015, 11:00 am at the Clock Chapel-Muskegon with Fr. Antony Britto officiating. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery.
