Shirley Potratz

Mrs. Shirley A. Potratz, age 81, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was born in Muskegon, MI on June 28, 1933 to Bernard & Ida (Denhof) Hollar and married Samuel Potratz on May 10, 1952. Mrs. Potratz had been employed by the State of Michigan for 32 years, retiring from PJ Hoffmaster State Park after 22 years in 1992. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, knitting and computer games. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Sons, Rob (Dalene) Potratz of Baldwin, Ron Potratz of Fruitport; grandchildren, Tayna, Richard and Angie; three great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; son, Randy; twin brothers, Nick & Len. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, October 4, 2014, 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Donald Wood officiating. MEMORIAL: Fruitport Lions Club.
