Shirley Lowther

Miss Shirley Ann Lowther, age 76, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016. She was born in Sterling Heights, Michigan on September 15, 1939 to Lloyd & Cleo (McDonald) Lowther. Miss Lowther had been employed as a beautician in various cities until moving to Grand Haven where she eventually became the Floral Manager for D & W. Shirley enjoyed deep lake fishing and was a wonderful cook and recipe collector. Shirley is best know for her kind soul. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS Sister, Judy Lowther of CA; dear friend and primary care taker, Joan Sutton of Grand Haven; surrogate children, Deanne (Jim) Dufford of Spring Lake; surrogate grandchildren, John (Chelsea) Kaminiski of Nunica, Mathew (Radha) Kaminiski of Grand Haven, Alex (Rachael) Kaminiski of Grand Haven; lots of surrogate great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert Joseph Williams and her parents. SERVICE A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, 10:00 am-12:00 noon at the Grand Haven Community Center in the Woodbine Room. MEMORIAL: American Diabetes Association.
