Mrs. Shirley J. Lindstrom, age 78, died Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was born in Muskegon Heights, MI on July 26, 1934 to Elof & Gladys Larson & married Robert "Bob" Lindstrom on February 22, 1962. Mrs. Lindstrom had been employed as a first grade school teacher at Fruitport Public School's for 27 years until retiring in 1989. She was an avid bridge player, but foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS 1 daughter, Kathy (Nick) Keeler of Grand Rapids, MI; 4 sons, Dr. Fred (Pam) Castenholz of Ann Arbor, MI, Rod (Sherri) Castenholz of Muskegon, Brian (Cindy) Castenholz of Muskegon & Robert Lindstrom of Muskegon; 13 grandchildren & 26 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert "Bob"; 2 sisters, Lorraine Felt & Kay Best. SERVICE Tuesday, July 16, 2013, 12:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. Interment at Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION Tuesday, 1 hour prior to the service at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon. MEMORIAL: Harbor Hospice Poppen House.
