Mrs. Shirley Mae Harter, age 85, passed away Monday, July 10, 2023. She was born in Muskegon, MI on July 3, 1938 to Albert & Ina (Patana) Houghtaling and married Ronald Harter Sr. on March 10, 1956 and he preceded her in death in 2015. Shirley had been a homemaker most of her life and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She like to crochet and enjoyed reading her Bible.
SURVIVORS
Grandchildren, Jeremy Rowden of IL, Selina Shiflett of FL; 7 great grandchildren; sisters-in-laws, Marne Houghtaling, Pat Houghtaling, Susan Houghtaling. She was preceded in death by her Husband Ronald Sr., her son Ronald Harter Jr., her daughter Vicki Goddard; sibilings, Doris Henderson, Joan Moore, Loran Houghtaling, Larry Houghtaling, George Houghtaling.
