Shirley Barendse

BARENDSE, MRS. SHIRLEY A. Muskegon Mrs. Shirley A. Barendse, age 78, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 28, 1932 to Elmer & Anna (Kozak) Gould. Mrs. Barendse had been a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and her flower garden. But foremost was always her family. SURVIVORS Son, Mike Barendse of Twin Lake; daughters, Deborah Elwell of Muskegon, Diane (Harold) Meisch of Whitehall, Denise (Mike) Johnson of Muskegon; grandchildren, Harold (Ann), Kenny, Shirley (Kelly); 7 great grandchildren; brother, Darky Gould of Muskegon Heights; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Barendse; brothers, Bob & Duane and sister, Darlene Sugarbaker. SERVICE A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
