Shirley A Van Andel

Shirley Anne Van Andel, age 86, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on June 18, 1931 to Joseph & Onesta (Mezzetti) Corinti. As per Shirley's wishes her body has been donated to Michigan State University Medical School. The family would like to thank the staff at Heartwood Lodge for their tender and loving care. SURVIVORS Daughters, Cheryl (Stan) Policka of Norton Shores, Nancy (David) Wells of Twin Lake, Ruth (Robert) Cross of Norton Shores, Lori Van Andel of Spring Lake, son, James (Michelle Archambeau) Van Andel of Nunica; sisters, Maxine Janowski, Mary Olovson, Linda (Paul) Corinti-Bristow; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Shirley was preceded in death by a daughter Susan Hart; grandson, James VanAndel Jr., 4 brothers and a sister. SERVICE A celebration of Shirley's life will take place June 23, 2pm to 6pm, at the home where she raised her children, 145 E. Mt. Garfield, Norton Shores, MI, 49441.
