Sherland Dequense Moore, age 67, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born in Jonesboro, LA on July 5, 1957 to Crockette & Eleanor (Hayes) Moore and graduated from Muskegon High School. She had worked at Big Lots, Goodwill and the Eurasia Feather Co. in Grand Rapids until retiring. Sherland liked fishing, was a great cook, and really loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Children, Marco "Bill" (Linda) Moore, Anetta Moore, Seclenette "Marie" Jones, Pearl Jones; Brothers, Tyrone Moore, Tony (Tina) Moore, Mark Moore; grandchildren, Montel Moore, Keyanna Moore, Teyanna Moore, Quintyra Jones-Pittman, Raynoe Jones-Pittman, Osiris Jones, David Leftridge Jr., Ja'Rese Jones-Beckley, Ya'Miah Imani Branch-Moore; great-grandchildren, Legend Moore, Ava Moore, Za'Maya Moore, Za'Riyah Moore, Temperence Branch-Moore; Father Crockette (Deborah) Moore; Mother Eleanor Alexander; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Sherland was preceded in death by her son Michael Moore and her husband Ricky Moore, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
