Sharon E. Witmer

Miss Sharon Elizabeth Witmer, age 74, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on March 4, 1943 to Cecil & Marian (Crowther) Witmer and graduated from Muskegon High School in 1960. Miss Witmer went to Bronson School of Nursing and received her Masters degree in Nursing from Long Beach State in California. She worked for the University of Michigan Hospital as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years until retiring. Sharon was also on the faculty at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. She was a Muskegon Big Red fan and season ticket holder for both University of Michigan football and basketball teams. Sharon enjoyed visiting different lighthouses and traveling to Europe. The family would like to thank the staff of Seminole Shores for their wonderful care of Sharon.
