Hobby, Mrs. Sharon Lorraine Muskegon Mrs. Sharon Lorraine Hobby, age 70, passed away at her home after a long illness on Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on May 24, 1950 to Earl & Catherine (Michielsen) Frantz and married Jerry Hobby on July 28, 1972. Mrs. Hobby had been employed as a fork lift driver for L&W in Holland until retiring. Sharon was a member of the American Legion in Grand Haven, the VFW Auxillary, enjoyed crocheting, taking pictures, traveling & was an avid beach goer. Sharon loved her weekly gatherings with her high school classmates. SURVIVORS Daughters, Jodi Merfeld of Grand Haven, Ginger Hobby of West Olive; grandchildren, Taylor Hobby, Alexis Merfeld, Jasmin Merfeld, Saige Merfeld; great-grandchild, Brody Slagh; sisters, Mary Ann (Dan) Smith, Dianna Bohunicky, Joanne (Junior) Gibson; many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Jerry in 1984, sister Teresa Kloet, brother-in-law Steve Bohunicky SERVICE Wednesday, January 6, 2021, 7:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service at Clock Chapel - Muskegon with Rev. Carlos Ramos officiating. Interment in Assumption Cemetery in Rothbury. VISITATION Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Clock Funeral Home - Muskegon.
